| So you’ve hopefully discovered, or at least clarified in your mind, a few things about yourself that might impact the kind of work you want to pursue. Maybe you realized your skills are in working with people, and you’ve decided you want to be a….TEACHER!! No? | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Ok, maybe you learned you’re best suited to a career working outdoors, in a physical job like construction or adventure tourism.
Whatever you found out, the next step is to identify a few jobs that interest you and do some research on them. You might really like the sound of a certain job and your inventory suggests you would be good at say, working outdoors. But one of your values about work might be that you want to make a lot of money? Hmmm. There’s a conflict here. How can you work outside and make good money. Maybe you can’t. This is stuff you need to consider when planning your future. |
