Yearbook
Yearbook is a desktop publishing course which involves:
- community service to the school - choose this course if you enjoy helping others and creating something for others
- Working in a team setting - involves brainstorming ideas, recognizing peoples strengths, splitting up tasks.
- creativity
- file management on the computer
- digital photo editing with Adobe Photoshop CS3
- Computer Vector Artwork with Adobe Illustrator CS3
- Desktop publishing with Yearbook Avenue Online
Grading
Grading is a combination of participation marks and work created by the student. Much of the marks will be down as self evaluation. This is due to the fact that the yearbook is a team approach to creating a final project. Each student will be working on separate projects.
